Spacious room with double bed, en-suite with shower, tea/coffee facilities, private outside entrance and patio. Max Guests: 2

2) Sun Room
Spacious room with a queen size and a single bed, en-suite with shower, self catering or sleep only unit, kitchenette, lounge suite and a fire place. Private outside entrance and a patio. Max Guests: 3

3) Family room
Two inter leading rooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, en-suite with shower, lounge suite, tea/coffee making facility, private outside entrance and a patio. Max Guests: 4

OTHER FACILITIES:

All rooms are air-conditioned.

TV in all rooms.

Braai facilities are available and Braai Packs can be arranged.

The Northern Cape contributes to the rich and diverse flora of the Cape Province and it is claimed to be that there are between 8000 and 10000 wild flower species. Among all these we were delighted to have found one, namely "Clematis brachiata", meaning Travellers Joy and from there the name of our Guesthouse.

The name Travellers Joy must have come about because of its all wonderful medicinal properties that were useful to the traveller in days gone by when all travel was either on foot or on horse back. Leaves packed into the shoes were used to ease the blisters and aches and pains, and packed under the saddle to prevent saddle sores on horses.
