The Andros Boutique Hotel is a gracious Cape Dutch homestead, dating from the early 1900's and designed by Sir Herbert Baker which is set in large, mature, park-like gardens. Positioned in the heart of Claremont, one of Cape Town's beautiful Southern Suburbs, The Andros has been lovingly restored and updated, carefully preserving its old-world charm.

Gourmet breakfasts are served on the sun-bathed terrace, overlooking the vast gardens and pool. Unwind after a busy day with an al fresco dinner and a glass of excellent Cape wine on the candle-lit patio or in the cosy dining room. Whilst The Andros is less than 10 minutes from Cape Town's historic centre and Waterfront, and only 20 minutes from the airport, it provides a peaceful and graceful "home away from home" to the discerning visitor and business traveler.

The Andros offers 10 individually and elegantly furnished rooms, complete with soft linens, fresh flowers and fruit trays, TV, fridge and private patios. Our luxury suites have separate baths and showers, each decorated to the highest standards.

Our lovely dining room provides the perfect setting for a quite meal after a hectic day out at the one of Cape Town's many attractions, or a slow day at the beach.

Either way our in-house chef will provide you with a variety of 3 course meals freshly prepared each day. For those who like al fresco dining, we have the perfect patio overlooking the garden. Breakfast is also served on the patio on warm summer's days, our breakfast buffet offers tropical fruits, a full continental breakfast, and a cooked English breakfast.

Lunch is also available, be it on the terrace or at the pool, as are morning and afternoon teas.

The Andros' leafy gardens and personal charm also offer an elegant ambience for weddings, exclusive corporate and private functions.

Enjoy our beautiful and secluded pool. Every day does not need to be spent on the road sight-seeing. There is plenty of shade from the mature trees that surround the pool to get away from the sun.

The large terrace provides the ideal spot from which to enjoy a quiet drink in the late afternoon. You can also enjoy a lovely meal outside on the terrace in the evenings. You are welcome to invite family or friends to join you.

There is plenty of room for everyone to find a quiet spot for a chat or to read. We have a "borrow and replace" library in several languages, so if you forget to bring a good book, you are bound to find a book to match your mood.
