Marlinspike Lodge, Cape Town Welcome to Marlinspike Guest Lodge! Situated in Hout Bay, Cape Town, Marlinspike offers magnificent sea and mountain views as well as top class Guest House / Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Our Villa holds a prime position in the Cape Town, overlooking colourful Fisherman's village of Hout Bay, with spectacular, uninterrupted views of the yacht marina, the fishing harbour, Chapman's Peak and Hout Bay beach from every bedroom!

We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in one of our six double guest rooms. Each of which has sea and mountain views as well as en suite bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities, TV and use of the swimming pool. Two of the rooms can be combined into a family unit (ground floor). If you are a business traveller, or if you just want to stay in touch, there are phones in every room and we are one of the few Western Cape Guest Houses offering optional Broadband Wireless Internet access from all rooms as well as Conference and Office facilities.

Children are welcome (under parent’s strict control of course as the pool is not covered and the balconies are not ‘children friendly’) and while the indoor areas and rooms are non smoking you may take a puff in our beautiful indigenous garden with a variety of fynbos which is unique to this part of the world.

Start the day with fresh fruit salad, cereal, toast, fruit juice and coffee or tea or if you prefer a hot South African breakfast, with eggs of your choice (fried, boiled, poached, scrambled or omelette) with bacon, tomato and mushrooms.

*   its own en suite facilities. All except the second room in the family suite(which has no bath)  has an en suite shower and bath and a number of the rooms also have bidets.
