Franschhoek accommodation at the guest house L'Auberge Chanteclair nestles in the Franschhoek valley with panoramic views of the vineyards, mountains and valley. The Victorian farmhouse, with its lofty ceilings and light and airy rooms set in wonderful landscaped gardens amongst spreading oak and jacaranda trees, has a very special ambience.

Take a stroll through our vineyard and later while relaxing by the pool enjoy a glass of Chanteclair wine. You can also sit in the shade down by the lake and watch our resident ducks and the many species of wild birds that are attracted to the lake. And, of course, the roaring log fires in the winter offer a different warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Accommodation consists of:

Jacaranda
A beautiful king / twin suite with fireplace and lounge area. This room has high ceilings is pleasantly cool in the summer and warm in the winter. TV / bar fridge / tea and coffee making facilities.

The Studio
Queen with en-suite bathroom. It is fully equipped with separate lounge, fireplace and private patio.

Syringa
Our newly refurbished king / twin with private patio overlooking pool and garden. Syringa is decorated in romantic and elegant tones. TV / bar fridge / tea and coffee making facilities.

Vine Cottage
The cottage has its own private patio with stunning views of our vineyard. It has a been fully refurbished and has lounge with fireplace, decorated in African style and a separate dining area. The king/twin bedroom is decorated in light tones,

which offers a relaxing and cool atmosphere during the summer months. TV / bar fridge / tea and coffee making facilities, en-suite bathroom.

Cork Oak
King / twin with garden access. Also completely refurbished with en-suite facilities. Double doors to the garden overlooking vines. TV / bar fridge / tea and coffee making facilities.

Prunus
