Cedarwoods Guest House comprises:

Representing sheer elegance under thatch, Cedarwoods offers gracious living with the powerful finesse of a pre-industrial way of life. Design is oriented not only toward the connoisseur of antiquities but also for those who enjoy comfort and sophisticated style. Warm sunny days are complemented by breezy patios and sparkling pools, whilst winter ushers in roaring log fires and warm goose down duvets. All rooms are luxuriously appointed with English, Cape Dutch, and Continental antiques. A convivial character pub is stocked from a well-equipped stone vaulted wine cellar. The five bedrooms are all en-suite (baths and showers), three with direct access to patio or balcony. Antique furniture, under-floor heating, private telephones, custom comfort beds with cotton linens and down duvets, are standard.

Every effort is made to cater for additional specific needs of the individual through use of ‘pre-arrival request forms’. Apart from the award-winning grounds themselves, spectacular views are afforded of Table Mountain’s majestic crags and the rolling vineyards of Constantia Valley, together with distant glimpses of False Bay and the Cape Peninsla. Swimming pools, sauna, delightful rose & woodland-fringed croquet lawn and a barbecue facility complete the tranquil scene.

We regret no smoking (inside) nor pets allowed (except guide-dogs). Internet connection and fax are available. Off-street parking exists; garaged where possible.

Premises are not available for international house exchange. Premises can be hired out for movie shoots by prior arrangement. The ground floor bedroom and all reception rooms are wheelchair accessible. Enquiries are welcomed from agents as well as direct from individual guests.

Cherrywoods self-catering private villa has:

Cherrywoods is a freshly designed, character home having the authentic atmosphere of a Mediterranean villa. Rich earthy
hues provide harmonious complement to the meticulously collected antique fixtures and fittings including elegant furnishings, original electrical fittings and an antique French wood stove to warm up the kitchen area.

Stylish and Luxurious, 'Cherrywoods' can comfortably sleep 8 to 9 persons. A spectacular vista of Table Mountain through the tree canopies is apparent from the sitting room and the three double bedrooms. 'Cherrywoods' has a private walled garden within the estate with a tranquil swimming pool and barbeque area. Additional facilities beyond the private wall, include a sauna and delightful rose & woodland-fringed croquet lawn.

Safe parking for several vehicles is available. The residence may also be split into two separate units. Each unit can sleep up to four persons, with the reception room and other amenities being shared. Children are welcome, provided parents take responsibility for their safety and prevention of damages. A caterer is available to provide pre-prepared meals, dinner parties, cocktail parties & picnics.

The home is wheelchair accessible. We regret, smoking is not allowed indoors. Pets can be accommodated by special arrangement. Telephone is available. Internet and fax access can also be arranged. International house exchange can be arranged under special circumstances. Movie shoots can be arranged.

Rosewoods self-catering villa accommodates:

'Rosewoods' is a charmingly furnished two storey 'Country Cottage' under thatch. With one double and one single bedroom, and extensive reception space, it is appropriate for those seeking tranquility and spacious comfort. All rooms have appealing vistas of Table Mountain's majestic crags.

In the delightful grounds, spectacular views of Table Mountain form the backdrop to the large secluded swimming pool and the tranquil rose and woodland-fringed croquet lawn.

The cottage is serviced daily, there is off-street parking and breakfast can be taken by arrangement. Internet connection and fax are also available if requested. An independent caterer is available for pre-prepared meals, cocktail parties and small dinner parties.
