Bohi Khaya is set on a farm, tucked between hills, a little distance from Stanford, Western Cape. This Retreat offers individuals and groups an opportunity to get away to tranquillity, pastoral landscapes and events that inspire and renew. Housed in the historic main complex is a beautiful venue for small conferences, seminars, family celebrations and weddings. Accommodation includes comfortably appointed Cape cottages and private rooms with optional self-catering.

We welcome you to unwind, refresh, and return to your life with renewed energy! Nearby attractions include: the best whale watching in South Africa, long pristine beaches, spectacular birding, the southernmost tip of Africa, stunning nature walks, river cruises, horse riding, ancient caves, fabulous restaurants, and much much more!

The accommodation consists of a private self-catering cottage sleeping 4, and double and single rooms in the main Farm House complex. The cottage is equipped with microwave, conventional oven, good quality kitchen equipment, crockery etc. There is a Weber braai and a pleasant space to sit and braai. We supply all linen and towels.

Although we have plenty of firewood for our merry fires, it can be cold in Winter so bring plenty of warm clothes, wellies or hiking boots and rain gear for outdoors.

We provide tea and coffee. Gansbaai Super Spar (15km away) has a bakery, deli, fresh produce and a wide range of products you are used to in your home store.

Note: no TV or cellphone reception in the valley.

SELF CATERING COTTAGE:

• SUNBIRD: R500 - 700 per night depending on number of occupants

BED AND SELF SERVICE BREAKFAST:

• Double rooms: R450 - R500 per night [R300 for single use]

• Single rooms: R200 per night.

Retreats

We offer a beautiful, tranquil farm environment for group retreats. Our renovated barn provides a venue for conferences, workshops, and weddings, and meals can be catered in the attached kitchen and dining room. Please contact us for group prices. We can accommodate residential groups of up to 16, or non-residential groups up to 30.
